Dikir barat has long been in Singapore since the 1970s. Expanding through
youth participation, dikir barat in Singapura can be referred to as Dikir Singapura.

Dikir barat instruments showcases the art of dikir barat in a Singaporean context to students. They will learn a much-loved and valued Malay performing arts form in Singapore. Students will get to experience the different instruments and elements of performing Dikir Singapura through this programme.
